Google Pay

Google Pay is convenient, and Google says it protects your payment info with multiple layers of security (as of September 2026). In order to use this payment method with your phone, you’ll need to set up a screen lock. Click here to see how and here for more security tips from Google.

Note: Coinmama does not add its own fee. All fees are shown before you confirm your order. Your card issuer may charge its own fees. See fees and charges for more.

How does Google Pay work?

      1. Choose the Google Pay option
After choosing Google Pay, you may be required to verify the payment using your phone’s screen lock. The status of your order will then change to In Process, which means that your order is being processed.

Note: If your order stays In Process for a while, it’s best to wait. Coinmama orders expire if they’re not completed in time, and you’ll be able to see what the issue was once yours does. For more insight on transaction statuses and what they mean.
      2. Confirm your walletIf you don’t have 2FA enabled, head over to your email inbox, read the message carefully, and click the link in the wallet confirmation email if the information is correct. Once you have confirmed your wallet, crypto is delivered to the wallet address you provide. You’ll see it once the blockchain network has confirmed the transaction, which can take longer when the network is busy (see blockchain delays and confirmations).

Note: The coins are not sent until you confirm the wallet address for us (either via 2FA or email). Check that your wallet address is correct before you confirm it.
