We’re Coinmama, a financial service that makes it fast, safe and fun to buy digital currency, anywhere in the world. We believe that the future of money is one where we, the people, are in control of our own economy. A future where there’s no place for middle-men, hidden fees and fine print.

To deliver on that promise, we have come to work every day since 2013 to create the simplest financial service out there - spoken in a language you can understand, and backed by customer service you can count on.

Simple We know that in order to have a lasting impact, any product, process or communication we create needs to be both clear, intuitive and beautiful. We understand this is one of the hardest things to achieve, but we’re willing to go the extra mile because we believe that simplicity is crucial, and see it as one of the key ingredients in making crypto-currencies accessible to the masses.

Growth We should all strive to become better at what we do, learn new things as we go and grow as professionals but also as better human beings. It’s OK to make mistakes, but when we do, we understand what went wrong and learn from it, so we don’t repeat the same mistakes twice. We crave knowledge that can improve our business processes, and delivering our customers with the ultimate user experience.

Integrity Being honest and transparent about how we work is critical. Admitting to mistakes and fuck-ups is fine. We are all human and make mistakes. Trust can only be achieved when people have confidence in each other and our ability to follow words with action. We have a high moral code and honor other people regardless of gender, race or any other factor.

Each team member has their own responsibilities which they own at all costs, but we are all responsible for the way we conduct ourselves. If we take on a new task, we ensure it is completed in the best possible way and meets the deadlines that were set.

Fun

Fun We spend a lot of time at work and we work hard. The work environment we share is casual and fun where a sense of humor is appreciated and enjoying ourselves is key. We have no formal dress code. Most importantly - we have our “smiley test”. If we don’t smile at work due to something and something can be done about it, we should talk about it and ensure the smile returns.

Asaph is an entrepreneur who held a wide range of leadership roles in startups over the past 20 years. In his last role he served as VP Marketing of Checkmarx - Israel’s fastest growing cyber security company. Asaph enjoys traveling, reading and biking with his family.

As founder of Israel’s first bitcoin ATM company, Nimrod is a long-time crypto enthusiast, and runs our operations. When he’s not making ends meet, you’ll likely find him doing some kind of extreme sport.

Guy leads the finance and BI, and brings years of experience as a CFO of private and publicly traded high tech and fintech companies. When he’s not obsessing about numbers, Guy loves to travel and cook for his friends and family.
