Satoshi Nakamoto

The anonymous inventor of Bitcoin. Some people have suggested that Satoshi could be a group of people. 

The person or individuals that invented bitcoin, produced the bitcoin white paper, and built and distributed bitcoin’s original reference implementation are known as Satoshi Nakamoto. As part of the implementation, Nakamoto also constructed the first blockchain database. Up until December 2010, Nakamoto was involved in the development of bitcoin. Many people have claimed to be Nakamoto or have been mistaken for him. Nakamoto has never revealed personal information, however, he has provided an opinion on banking and fractional-reserve banking on occasion. Nakamoto claimed to be a 37-year-old Japanese man on his P2P Foundation page as of 2012, however, due to his native-level usage of English, others felt he was unlikely to be Japanese.

Some have speculated that Nakamoto is a group of people: Nakamoto might be a group of individuals or a genius, according to Dan Kaminsky, a security researcher who studied the bitcoin code. A developer named Laszlo Hanyecz, who had emailed Nakamoto, though the code was too well-designed for one person. Although Nakamoto’s identity is unknown, speculation has centered on a number of prominent cryptographic and computer science professionals, the majority of whom are of non-Japanese origin.
